We have a quick announcement that we are going to keep short, so you can get back to exploring dangerous dungeons and solving whatever problem you are facing from the BBEG!

There has been some confusion (not the spell) regarding the mimic tile and the VIP pledge levels. Our messaging was unclear and we would like to do right by those who showed their support to us so early in the campaign.

UNLOCK REACHED: Explore the Desert of Endless Sands!

The Endless Sands Theme Is Unlocked!

This new theme comes with pieces larger than anything else released so far - massive Rock Formations, mysterious Obelisks, and prickly Cacti! It also will come with more tiles than the other themes, fitting for the feel of Endless Sands in your campaign.

This theme is now an option for any pledge. Once the Kickstarter has ended, you can choose this through our Pledge Manager.

We initially planned for Endless Sands to unlock with only its starting pieces, and the Obelisk to come later. However, when we shuffled around unlocks and moved this to hit sooner, we decided to have the Obelisk unlock at the same time with it.

We hope you enjoy this unlock! The next unlocks coming up are doors, and all pieces being pre-primed.

How to Buy More Addons Without Changing Your Pledge

Hi Adventurers!

We've received lots of direct messages and questions asking how to change a pledge. More specifically, the majority of the questions have been something along the lines of 'I want to get the Painting addon for my kits but I don't want to change my current pledge level to do so'. Kickstarter does have this article instructing how to do it, which explains it ok, but they're completely lacking visuals.

So, we've put together some instructions (with images) of our own to fill in the gaps. Yes, it is possible to keep your current pledge while only adding/editing your addons. If this situation applies to you and you want some more in-depth instructions on how to do this, please keep reading:

Step 1: Click the blue button in the top-right corner that says'Change your pledge'

Step 2: Skip past this screen by clicking the blue button in the bottom right corner which says 'Change your pledge'

Step 3: At this point, you will notice that your current pledge is still selected - there is no need to change it. From here, click the green button on the right of the page, about mid-way down, which says'Pledge $$$'

Step 4: Now you have been brought to a page where you can Configure your reward. This is where you can choose any addons you would like to include in your Pledge. Your original pledge has been retained throughout this process.

Step 5: The bottom of the screen will update and show your total pledge and any addons you have selected. Once your configuration is set to your liking, hit 'Continue' on the bottom right.

Step 6: This is a final confirmation page, just to make sure it all looks good. The new and previous totals are both displayed. Once you hit 'Confirm changes' here then your pledge update process is complete! Woot!

Why do this in Darkvision (black and gray), when we can have color?

Exciting news, everyone!

This is a longer update, but worth reading. We are including an option to have your Kits painted! We have received many comments, questions, and asks on this, and so we have come up with a way to make this work.

In the addons section, there are three new options:

• Paint 1 of My Kits: $35
• Paint 2 of My Kits: $65
• Paint 4 of My Kits: $120

Our process includes priming all the pieces, painting, and then we put on a protective clear-coat so that the good-looking art will last.

Any clear-plastic objects, such as spell circles or water tiles, will not be painted in order to retain their natural transparency-colors. However, we will be sharing a video shortly so you can see how to add a little effect to transparent objects, in case you want to make them pop more.

For all Current or Soon-to-Be Epoch Mega Level Backers: We are going to include all 10 of your kits to be painted - so you do not need to worry about the new addon. If you want to retain any of them to not be painted, for any reason, you can let us know through our Pledge Manager at the end of the campaign and we’ll only paint the amount you request.

If you have a kit painted, please note that the delivery time will be longer so that we can do a rockstar job painting these for you. If you have painted kits in your order, plan on them being shipped in August.

PS - Why have this as an addon? We wanted to be fair to all of those who have backed us already, while also giving the opportunity to future backers. Doing it this way also enables you to choose if you want all, or just some, of your kits painted.

We’ve got a few cantrips up our sleeve and we’ve updated our unlocks. Our Kickstarter page now reflects the new additions as well as lists out the price point at which each unlock is achieved. We have condensed our unlock schedule to allow you to level up quicker, and we’ve also moved our next 2 themes, Endless Sands & Crystal Caverns, to unlock sooner!

As of this moment, we are $18k away from the Endless Sands unlock.
