How do I pick the Terrain Textures in my Kits, and my Kit Themes?
First, you will back a Tier. Once the Kickstarter campaign has ended, you will then be sent an email from Backerkit asking which Kits you want, and which Textures you want for each of those Kits that you receive.

What if I already have 3D (or 2D) terrain from somewhere else?
Our tiles are made to work with the standard 25mm (1 inch) scale, so they will be able to fit around or on top of any other terrain you may already have. This is the same scale where a miniature’s height is 28mm.

Is it worth it to get 3D terrain?
Yes! Brad and Bryan started with making their own 3D terrain, and fell in love with the game-immersion it did at their own table. Unfortunately, other options were either expensive or impractical to use. Epoch Tiles came from their own trials and errors to eventually create the ideal system for 3D terrain.

What are the theme options?
To start there are two themes available, with two more that can be unlocked later. You will see the contents of those themes initially, as well as the extra pieces that can unlock later. The extra pieces are added in when they unlock without the need for you to pledge higher!

What are the texture options?
You will see the texture options available for your magnetic tiles. The tiles have two sides and so with each kit you get to choose two textures, one for each side. To start there are two options with up to seven total options with unlocks.

What are the pledge levels?
The first pledge is the Starter Level. It lets you choose one kit. For that kit you get to choose a theme and two tile textures. The subsequent pledge levels give you more kits - and lets you choose themes and tile textures for each one! You can choose the same theme multiple times or different themes. You also get to choose what tile textures you want for each theme in the kit. For example if you choose the Dragon Level, you get four kits. You could choose to get three Ancient Woodland themes and one Hidden Temple theme for your kits. For each theme you then get to choose your tile textures. They can be the same for all four kits, or they can be different for each, or any combination that fits your needs best. Additionally, for choosing to pledge more and get multiple kits, you also receive extra bonus pieces beyond what would be in the kits normally. We also are throwing a few swag items your way for being so awesome!

What is BackerKit?
BackerKit is a service that crowdfunded project creators use to keep track of hundreds to tens of thousands of backers—from shipping details, pledge levels, preferences and quantities, whether they have paid or had their card declined, special notes, and everything in between!
The BackerKit software and support team is independent from the campaign’s project team—BackerKit does not handle the actual reward shipping. For more information about the preparation or delivery status of your rewards, please check the project's updates page.
How does BackerKit work?
After the campaign ends, the project creator will send you an email with a unique link to your survey. You can check out a walkthrough of the process here.
I never received my invitation. How do I complete the survey?
The most common reasons for not receiving a survey email is that you may be checking an email inbox different from the email address you used to sign up with Kickstarter, Indiegogo or Tilt Pro account, or it may be caught in your spam filter.
Confirm that the email address you are searching matches the email address tied to your Kickstarter, Indiegogo, or Tilt Pro account. If that doesn’t work, then try checking your spam, junk or promotions folders. You can also search for "backerkit” in your inbox.
To resend the survey to yourself, visit the project page and input the email address associated with your Kickstarter, Indiegogo or Tilt Pro account.
How do I update my shipping address?
BackerKit allows you to update your shipping address until the shipping addresses are locked by the project creator. To update your address, go back to your BackerKit survey by inputting your email here.
When will my order be shipped, charged or locked?
That is handled directly by the project creator. BackerKit functions independently of the project itself, so we do not have control of their physical shipping timeline. If you want to check on the project’s status, we recommend reading over the project's updates page.
I completed the survey, but haven't received my rewards yet. When will they arrive?
As BackerKit does not actually handle any rewards or shipping, the best way to stay updated on the shipping timeline would be to check out the project's updates page.
